Wow, almost half way there! My baby should be about 4-5 ounces now. His or her ears are forming now and will begin hearing sounds very soon if not already! Poor kid, at least they will be used to the very high volume of noise in this house before they are born!
From everything I have read my uterus should be 1-2″ below my belly button still but it definatly isnt. Maybe thats because this is my 4th pregnancy? I can feel the top of my uterus underneath my belly button. Its a very weird feeling that I forgot about!
Lastnight I felt the baby rolling around in there and even had a couple braxton hicks contractions. Braxton Hicks contractions are just practice contractions and are not preterm labour or anything to be concerned about.
Ive really noticed my balance is slightly off. My center of gravity is quickly moving as my uterus is shifting outward to make room for this growing baby!
I weighed 163lbs this morning, up a pound and a half from yesterday. I ate fairly badly at lunch, and definatly over ate at that time but I ate very sensibly for dinner. So hopefully I didnt put on too much fat yesterday. As of today I have gained 7 pounds at 17 weeks. 23 weeks until my due date!
