I am 8 weeks one day pregnant today and weighed 157.6lbs this morning
Ive still got some queasiness. It sucks to think I may feel like this for another month still. My baby’s fingers and toes are beginning to form and his or her arms can flex at the elbow. At this point the tail at the end of my baby’s spinal chord should be shrinking, soon my baby wont look much like a tadpole anymore! The baby should be between .6 and .7 inches long and weigh about 3 grams. Testes or ovaries begin are beginning to form about now! He or she should look more like a tiny tiny baby now than a tadpole or a gummy bear. Im excited for my July 2nd ultrasound! I cant wait to see him or her! Right now if we were to look for the gender it wouldn’t be present, its far too early. The earliest we would be able to check is at 14 weeks, but generally most women have to wait until twenty weeks before getting the ‘big’ ultrasound. Im very excited to see if this baby is a girl or a boy. I feel that its a girl, but I will be thrilled either way, three sons or two sons and a daughter. Really its a no-lose situation! I am so excited to catch the first glimpse of my little one. This pregnancy was a complete shock but in the past few short weeks Ive grown on the idea of being a Mom to three kids!
