June 8th
I am 8 weeks 3 days pregnant and weighed 159.0lbs this morning. All the food yesterday did its damage
How upsetting to see those numbers climb. After losing so much weight it is really hard to see the scale creep up. Im not feeling any aches or pains from my run yesterday. Im just tired and that is to be expected. My oldest keeps waking me up at 5 am! Why 5am?! Why not sleep in till 6, or 7! He has never been a late sleeper unfortunately. Something will have to change with that before the baby gets here. There is no way I can be up every two hours during the night and up for the day at 5am and not get to bed till 10pm or later, only to be woken up by 3 children through out the night. That will seriously be bad. We are planning on changing the boys’ sleeping arrangements a bit in hopes it helps keep them in their beds all night. Currently there is a toddler bed, which is a converted crib and a queen sized bed in the boys bedroom. My youngest usually sleeps in the toddler bed and my older son usually sleeps in the big bed. We are going to get a set of bunk beds, but not bunk them up until they are older. I plan on letting them pick them out and pick out new bedding and make a big deal of the new beds so hopefully they will love them and love sleeping in them. We will need the crib for the baby eventually so I figured it would be best to get it moved out of the boys room as soon as possible so my younger son doesn’t feel like he is having something of his taken away for the baby.
