Normally around 20 weeks most pregnant women get a diagnostic ultrasound and usually find out the gender at that time if they want. A midwife is providing my prenatal care this time around so I am not getting a diagnostic ultrasound. Instead I booked a fun ultrasound to find out the gender of this little baby. It was scheduled for 4pm at Sneak Peek Ultrasound in Las Vegas Nevada. The person scanning me was really nice, Ill give a full review on the place in another entry (or we’d be here all day) As I laid there my husband and boys were in the room and got to watch the scanning on a larger TV. We saw our beautiful little baby! After a few minutes of scanning I thought I saw a between the legs shot but I wasnt sure. Ive only been pregnant with boys so I was looking for a penis but I didnt see one. I got this little jolt of nerves all of a sudden. Was it a girl I saw? She kept scanning and didnt say anything and scanned over a few other body parts. We saw the little heart beating away perfectly. I was so in love with this little person. Then she got another shot at another angle between the legs. I knew this was ‘it’ she asked if I was ready to know if this baby was a girl or a boy and I said ‘I think so’ suddenly so nervous! She said its a girl! And froze the screen and sure enough it was definitely a girl! I had thought this baby was a girl all along but to see proof was huge. I was stunned and my husband said I had a look on my face like ‘Oh crap! what do I do now?!’ Im excited to meet my daughter!
